Hepatic cysts
Simple cyst¶
- Many have at least a partial septation or puckering of the wall that disturbs the normally smooth contour of uncomplicated cysts
Complex cysts¶
- Internal echoes
- Thick wall
- Septations that are numerous or thick
- Solid elements
- Calcification
- Most commonly due to hemorrhage
