Renal scan

• QC
• Check MG
• Prompt cortical peak 2-3 min (TcMAG3)
• Make sure the curve shape is the same for the cortex and whole kidney (on the one with 2 graphs)
• Mild asymmetry is okay if the split is 47%-53%, but once you get to like 45-55 split that's asymmetric and abnormal
• Cortical peak and washout

Pediatric scan with Lasix

• Cortical curves might not be great due to the small kidneys
