  • Fat
  • Proteinaceous material
  • Methemoglobin (intra- and extraceullar, early and late subacute intraparenchymal hemorrhage respectively)
  • Melanin
  • Minerals: gadolinium, copper, manganese, iron, and calcium (rarely; when dispersed, not in bone)
